Policy on Booking and Cancellation

Late Checkout Policy:
Late checkouts between 12 noon and before 6pm will be charged 30% of one night’s room rate. After 6pm, guests will be charged one night’s room rate.Family Plan Policy:
One Children age 10 and under, sleep free in existing room bedding. Rollaway is charged INR 1000+ taxes per person per night. The maximum number of extra beds/children’s cots permitted in a room is ONE. One Children age 10 and under enjoy complimentary buffet breakfast at PIQUANT outlet.ID Requirement:
For security purposes, valid Indian Government approved photo identification with address is required at check-in for all guests occupying the room. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, Aadhar card, and/or Voter ID. A copy for record will be made of the document at check-in. Foreigners are mandated to provide valid VISA upon arrival before Check-in.Parking Policy:
Parking is at the owners’ risk. Overnight parking is available only for in-house guests free of cost after stipulated security checks. The hotel is not liable in the case of theft of or damage to any parked vehicle(s).Smoking Policy:
Smoking in Guest room, Public area will attract a penalty of 5,000.00/- INR per occurrence + applicable GST.Payment Policy:
At the time of Check in, Hotel will collect Room and taxes with approved credit card provided at check in or alternative mode of payment provided for the entire stay reserved. Physical presence of the credit card holder is mandatory to utilize the credit card at any point of sale at the hotel. Hotel does not accept cheque payments. By providing the credit card details at the time of reservation, you authorize the hotel to charge the card in case of no show or late cancellation. PAN card is mandatory for any individual making a cash payment of more than Rs. 50,000.00/-.All reservations are to be guaranteed with credit card or advance payment or through deposit. The hotel is authorized to charge no show retentions or charges per reservation in case of non-arrival of guest. Reservation can be cancelled without any charge 72 Hours in advance of check-in date unless specified differently in standard reservation confirmation voucher issued by the hotel. Certain reservations are non-refundable and non-cancellable .In all such case, entire amount including taxes will be charged.Outside Food and Beverage Policy:
Hotel does not allow outside food and beverages to be brought in the hotel, Outside food and beverage, consumption by resident guests is considered on their risk and hotel will not be liable for any damage / inconvenience.Visitor Policy:
Hotel does not allow outside visitors, who are not registered with the hotel as occupants inside the guest room corridor or guest rooms. Guests meetings and entertainments are permitted in public area or restaurants only. Photo ID proof and extra occupancy charges are mandatory for registering additional guestsPet Policy:
We are happy to welcome your traveling pet companions only with prior intimation. Pets are allowed to stay with pet owners only in room but pets are not allowed in the bed, sofa or chairs. If any fur is found on the bed, Sofa or chairs, washing charges of INR 2000.00+ applicable taxes will levied on the room rent.Swimming Pool and Hotel Facility Use Policy:
Use of recreational facilities, such as the pool, is governed by minimum age requirements. As a general guideline, these services can only be used or requested by guests 15 years of age and above. Guests 15 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Hotel is not liable to provide safety and security of any individual and it is considered that user is medically/physically fit and is trained before utilizing any hotel facility. For hygiene of fellow users, all the guests have to wear proper swimming costumes when using the pool. If you do not have a suitable swimming costume, please feel free to contact our designated pool attendant, who will be happy to assist you in purchasing approved swimwear from the hotel.Security Policy:
The hotel reserves the right of admission. For security reasons, all rooms will be checked once every 24 hours for occupation and usage. Duplicate keys to the guest room will not be issued without the presence of the registered guest(s), and only after the presentation of valid photo identification. Hotel does strict CCTV camera monitoring and CCTV access is prohibited for guest viewing for any reasons. In the unfortunate event that the client’s guests or their guest’s behaviour become unacceptable and causes embarrassment or discomfort to others (guests or hotel staff) management of the hotel reserves the right to have the individual or individuals removed from the hotels premises.Natural Landscaping Disclaimer:
Hotel is located in dense green landscaped land. The hotel has vast open area. Due to its natural landscape the hotel residents / guests / employees may face concerns with flora and fauna from time to time. Guest are requested to be aware of such aspects and take necessary precautions.Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction:
If any dispute or differences of opinion arise between the client / guests in relation to or in connection with Paciano, they will undertake negotiation in good faith with a view to resolve the matter. The parties here too shall endeavour to settle all disputes and differences relating to and/ or arising amicably. In the event that the parties failing to resolve any dispute amicably, the same shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the arbitration and re-conciliation act with all modification and re-enactment thereto as is prevalent in India. and if no amicable resolution or settlement is reached within a period of Ninty (90) days, such disputes and/or differences shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of High Court at Jalpaiguri only.
